We have started with a simple and compelling vision about 3 years ago. We wanted to make big data analytics easy by breaking down technology barriers and enabling companies to tap on the tremendous value hidden in their big data assets. Our approach might have been somewhat unconventional with no venture capital investment, no US offices, no serial entrepreneur in the team, just a couple of Hungarian data professionals who had an idea on how such a product should look like.
We have certainly made mistakes and learned a lot in the process but I am very proud of what we have achieved. We have created a solid product for big data analytics that has been adopted all around the world. We have secured big customers like Schneider Electric, Prezi, Ustream, Fractal Analytics, and many more who prefer to be unnamed. We have built an excellent team of big data and analytics experts whose competence is likely unmatched in the intersection of big data and advanced analytics. With all these successes, we have reached a tipping point where our marketing reach and lack of global presence have started to be a limiting factor to our future growth.
Today, I am happy to announce that we are joining forces with RapidMiner to further execute on our joint vision. RapidMiner is a recognized leader in advanced analytics and a strategic partner of Radoop for many years. Our products have been tightly integrated from the very beginning and the joint RapidMiner and Radoop product line is a perfect fit for advanced analytics of all sizes – from thousands of records to large Hadoop clusters. We are very excited to join the RapidMiner family and work together in providing the most complete advanced analytics platform on the market.
